Hello,
The tenure for Flying Branch in Indian Air Force if a candidate has joined through AFCAT is Fourteen years from the date of commissioning and it is Non-extendable. And the tenure for Ground Duty (Technical & Non-technical) is Ten years from the date of commissioning. An extension of four years may be granted subject to service requirements, availability of vacancies, suitability, merit and willingness. So in case of flying branch the tenure is not extendable and in case of Ground Duty (Technical & Non-technical) the tenure is extendable depending on service requirements, availability of vacancies, suitability, merit and willingness.
