What is the mode of admission in Jadavpur Engineering College?

There are 3 faculties in JU- Engineering, Science and Arts. If you wanna apply for B.E. or B.Tech, you may apply for WBJEE first which is totally an online process. Nextly, If you wanna join eitherB.Sc. or B.A. (UG) programme, then it can be possible from the official website of JU (https://www.jaduniv.edu.in). In this method, it will be better for you to apply from any professional (cyber cafe and all).

For WBJEE, your rank (general or reservation) is the main criteria. Next, for Bachelors the marks of the Higher Secondary Examination are the main criteria. Here, you need the best agregate. Example- If you wanna go forB.Sc. Hons. at Mathematics, then the agregate will - (Marks of Maths in HS  2) + (Marks of Physics+Marks of Chemistry in HS)

Post Graduate Courses

Admission process for Post Graduate Courses is initiated in the period April - May

PhD Enrollment

Normally the selection process is done twice a year

May - June

December - January.

• Candidates should have scored at least 45% marks in 10+2 standard in order to be eligible to sit for WBJEE.
• For ME/M.Tech courses, B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline is required.
• A valid GATE score is required to secure admission in M.Tech program.
• The candidates can apply online on payment of INR 500 as application fee.
• FET also offers M.Tech (evening) in Intelligence Automation and Robotics with an intake of 18.
