What is the procedure of choice upgaradation in NEET 2019

Hello Prakash,
For upgradation of college that you are allotted during the 1st round allotment conducted by mcc you must follow these steps.

• You have to visit the allotted college in the time given for the 1st round of counseling.
• You have then two options:- either to freeze the allotted college or to float.

As you want to upgrade you have to choose float option and apply for upgradation.

• Then you must apply for the 2nd round of counseling as you did in 1st round.

Let us Understand the concept of UPGRADATION by a following example:

Suppose you filled 5 choices of colleges in the NEET COUNSELLING ROUND - 1.

Suppose you are alloted a college of 4th Preference.

So, in Second round if seats are available then you will be alloted a seat of Higher Preference given by you. If not possible then your earlier seat will be retained.

And if you are alloted a higher preference seat then this case is called SEAT UPGRADATION.
