The tie-breaker criteria for NEET 2019 are as follows:
The below mentioned steps in the order of preference are followed to break the tie:

Marks in Biology in NEET 2019: Candidate who obtains more marks in the Biology (Botany and Zoology) section will be given preference over the one who has scored lesser marks.

Marks in Chemistry in NEET 2019: If the above criterion fails, then the candidate obtaining more marks in the Chemistry will be placed above those with lesser marks.

The number of Wrong Answers: In case the tie remains after considering the above-mentioned criteria, then the candidate who has given least number of wrong answers will be preferred over the ones with more number of an incorrect number of responses.
Age: If the tie still persists, then the candidate who is older in age will be preferred over the younger ones.
The minimum qualifying percentile for NEET 2019 is as follows:
- 50th percentile for unreserved category (UR)
- 45th percentile for unreserved physically handicapped category (UR-PH)
- 40th percentile for SC, ST, OBC, SC-PH, ST-PH, OBC-PH
