Hi lakshmi ,
Sliding in any nits is not a easy job but though if you are determined to make it happen then its even not impossible.
Every year some of the seats are vacant in some branches so branch sliding is provided for candidates. But to change branch in any nits atleast one must have to score a gpa more than 9. Or else there is no chance to change.
Even your 9 gpa cannot slide your branch if your desired branch has no such seats vacant .
But I too had changed my branch . And you can too.
