IAF is one of the most challenging jobs but the authorities take great care of the recruits which also makes IAF one of the most well-paid jobs in the world. After qualifying the AFCAT, an officer can earn a salary of Rs. 56,100-1,10,700.

You'll not be getting after clearing AFCAT.You'll be getting salary only when you get commissioned as Flying Officer in Indian Airforce. Commissioned means getting recommended in SSB then clearing medical, making into merit list and finally completing the training.
During last year of training you'll be getting allowance of approx 21,000.
If you get commissioned in flying branch then your salary will be 85,372
For tech it is 74,872
And for non tech it is 71,872
