Hi there,
The GATE cutoff highly depends on the difficulty level of the question paper, followed by the no. of candidates, no. of M.Tech seats and previous years cutoffs. Last year GATE cutoff was 26.7-GEN, 24-OBC, 17.8-SC/ST.
If this year's GATE cut off was moderate to easy then you can expect a little rise of 2 to 3 marks from last year's cutoff otherwise it could be lower to 1 or 2 points.
