With the Supreme Court ruling, all students who wish to pursue MBBS must appear for NEET and score 50th percentile in Unreserved Category and 40th percentile in SC/ST/OBC categories. WBJEE Medical refers to counselling and admission process only.
- FOR EXAM: NEET 2018 usually occurs in the first two weeks on May on Sunday. The NEET brochure is usually released in November/December, so please refer to the official site which will display the document.
- FOR COUNSELLING AND ADMISSION: Please note that the dates mentioned in the following link were due to delay of publication of NEET results by 15 days:

As you may know, WBJEE Medical only refers to the counselling and admission process which will be carried out by the Government of West Bengal on the basis of the NEET marks secured by candidates. It does not refer to a separate medical entrance exam any longer as all exams conducted by different states have been subsumed under the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) from 2017 onwards. This means that all medical aspirants across India, irrespective of state, will have to appear for NEET and follow the NEET 2018 timeline till the declaration of results. Only after this can they follow the timeline of their own state with regard to the counselling and admission process which will be notified by the state counselling authority. As per the tentative dates for NEET 2018, the application form is expected to be released in the last week of January 2018 and can be submitted till the first week of March 2018. The admit card will be available for download from April. NEET 2018 is expected to be held in the first week of May and the result should be declared by the first week of June.
