The MHT-CET or Common Entrance Test is an annual entrance exam conducted by the Government of Maharashtra. It is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education.

The University rank basically It is your rank out of all students from the University within which you have given your CET exam. Category rank means the rank you got is of amongst the aspirant of that specific category appeared in the exam. Category rank is for the EWS, OBC, ST, SC, pwd.  Your combined merit rank indirectly also determines your category rank, and University rank both.
