Hi Kunal,
In NEET ug, both the negative marks and total marks matters. This is because in case of a tie in total marks while ranking less is the negative marks higher will be your ranking. This will be applicable even if you have a very high score. And this matters , as you might miss out on your dream college or the best college in your state even by one rank. So, always try to score less negative marks. Dont answer the questions if you are not sure about it more than 80%. You will notice that your total marks is also increasing. Try it out in your mock tests or while practising previous year papers.
