In IITs, as far as I know, there is no BMath degree. They do, however, have BSc in Mathematics, which can be pursued further as MSc. There is another branch, with better job prospects; Mathematics and Computing, which is primarily based on Mathematics, and gives you a BTech degree (which is highly valuable, if received from an IIT). Note that, not all the IITs offer the above-mentioned courses. You can also look for other reputed universities for the same.
As far as your career is concerned, you can pursue teaching high-level mathematics to undergraduate and/or postgraduate students. A PhD is highly recommended, which can help you get a teaching job at one of the IITs. Mathematics and Computing will give you a different job perspective, following which, you can end up working at the back-end of, for example, data analysis companies. Refer to proper sources for a better opinion.
