There are range of so called good rank depending upon thr intrest of NITs and branch.

For CSE in top NITs- maximum 5000

For CSE in any NITs- upto 11000

For core branches in good NITs like EEE, ME,- upto 17000

For getting lower branches in top NITs-like metallurgy, mining, civil, etc- upto 20000

And get any mid NITs- upto 27000.

To get in any NIT at any branch- upto 32000.

So this are the rank based on choice. Chose the one.
