WHAT RANK OR MARKS IS ATLEAST REQUIRED TO GET A GOOD NIT AND A GOOD BRANCH ( FOR GENERAL )???

Dear Student,

Actually it depends still according to the stats of previous year data, i've summarized the criteria of marks and percentile.

1. You need minimum 40K rank to get any of the NIT for the safe side, percentile should be around 96.

2. To get CSE in top NIT colleges your rank should be under 5K or 99.5+ percentile and for core branches your rank should be under 15K for to NIT's.

3. For the marks between 120-140 you will get only lower NIT's like  NIT Srinagar, NIT Mizoram, NIT Nagaland, NIT Manipur, NIT Arunachal Pradesh, etc.

For the marks between 140-180 you will get only average NIT's like  NIT Jalandhar, NIT Hamirpur, NIT Kurukshetra, NIT Delhi, NIT Surat, NIT Nagpur, NIT Calicut etc. only.

And if you score 180 then you will get top NIT's across the India which is also a tough competitor of many IIT's also and if you want top branches in these top NIT's then 200+ score should be enough, some of the Top NIT's are NIT Trichy, NIT Warangal, NIT Suratkal, NIT Allahabad, etc.
