You can follow these points in your 1st year college:
- You should know the syllabus well and practice questions every day.
- You should clear all your doubts on time without delaying it.
- Practice coding and mcq questions.
- Clear all your basics properly.
- You should also do internships for work experience.
- Make a time table,follow it strictly and revise weaker areas.
- Make notes of important portions and revise them regularly.
- Lastly you should believe in yourself and you can achieve your goals.
For CSE you must you need to practice coding and do coding related certified courses from top universities in Coursera, Udemy, EdX NPTEL. Do coding related internship and improve your communication skills. Practice competitive coding questions to prepare for top companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini and so on. Learn C, C++, Python and Java and prepare well for job interviews.
Your CV should be strengthened in order to increase your chance for placement.
