What should I do being a CSE 1st year student right from the start?what are the exams I need to prepare for etc..?

hii jaya yeah its pretty cool you have choosen the Computer science engineering feild as there is a huge scope in during your output while in terms of placements and in terms of higher studies i will sugest you. firstly right now gather the information what is the booming technology in your branch like out of my knowledge presently your branch is BIGDATA , IOT, Artifical Inteligence, Python , Java, many more . slowly strat deciding your area of interest in them look into passion in you towards it ,make it these things makein first year. later in second year its a time to kick start your carrer after you choose you will obviously find where you can get knowledge so get trained and certified kindly i suggest you to go offline classes for it because you will be more benifical along with try doing some internships in various compaines while get branded ones better

coming to third year ,this year you need be multitasking where you do internships and learn the personlity skills thats plays vital role in the placements while appply internships in various websites like INTERNSHALA , INTERNTHEORY,LETSINTERN many more ok get as many you could, on the other hand concentrate on the aptitude in the 3rd year 2nd semester while it plays a vital role in placements never forget to prepare.

now if you wanna do Mtech or MS you have to prepare for GRE or GATE start going for coaching be serious in them you will find bright future if hit up a great score.

so finally in the 4th year you have all things setup like you have all skill set at least you will be maintaining an 7 CGPA you can clear any placements but if you still have fail in them never get low because some times failure is first step of sucess while you will get sucess in other companies be confident enough

coming to Mtech of MS make sure you give GATE in 4th year only while GRE in 3rd year since it has 5 years of score validity as well , in 4th year you must concentarte on either placements or admission for MTech or MS thats it .

personly i would like to sugges you for higher studies for abraod and come back and work here you will be valued make sure you take good consultancy while in case of placements try off campus drive, pool campus as well that helps you .

my suggestion is you should not be an optional employee for company rather you should have companies to which you wanna go
