Hello Rohan,

Hope you are doing well!.In third and fourth year of engineering course, engineering students start getting worried about what to do after completing the course. There are many career opportunities waiting for you outside your college.

You can do a Job in your stream.
if you could not get a job after college you can go for higher studies to increase your job opportunities and knowledge in your domain(M.tech/MS).You will have to crack the different entrance examination to do your higher education in a good college. For M.tech , the entrance exam is GATE and there are many other universities who takes their own admission test , for MS you have to crack ILETS and GRE etc.You can also get a job through GATE in PSUs and in many other reputed Companies.
You can do MBA from a good college by cracking the CAT entrance examination.In India IIMs are considered as the most prestigious business schools. They take admission through Common Admission Test (CAT) which is conducted by IIMs.
Also you can go for civil services
Last but not least Entrepreneurship,this is the best option for you when you have unique business idea and you have also money to invest in your business. If you do not have money ,you should join some job so that you can earn money to invest and gather experience about how things work in corporate world.

There are various career options and that depends on your interest as well ,you can go for the campus selction,higher studies.The most preferred study option for most of the engineering graduates after their B. Tech programme is to opt for MBA to earn a management degree. Engineering graduates generally opt for take up a job through campus placements to garner work experience. And after a few years, they take up MBA / PDGM programme.
