What will be qualification code for candidate who have passed senior secondry examination in the year 2016

CBSE has set different codes for candidates who are appearing and have already passed in the senior secondary examination. As you have already passed the qualifying examination in 2016, so you shold opt for code 2.

Hello, As you said you have  passed 12th in 2016 so you have to enter code 2 .

Criteria for  Code 02 =
Any Student from CBSE/ICSE Board who has passed the 12th Examination not taken examination in any college. e.g.. Droppers . Students from STATE Board where 10+2 structure is followed should also use this code if they have successfully passed the Examination.
