As far as state ranking is concerned, it can not be assumed and predicted just on the basis of AIR because every year a large pool.of students is increasing from every single state.

Due to increase in number of applicants, the students qualifying is also increasing. In state counselling unless or until the complete registration process is not complete and the merit list is not released, you can not expect a state rank just on the basis of your AIR or your category rank.

So I would request you to wait for the state merit list to be released.
