what's a process of iit addmission
Hello Aspirant,
IITs takes the admission through JOSSA counseling on the basis of JEE Advanced score after qualifying JEE Main.
In order to take admission in IITs you should have minimum 75% as General category and 65% as a reserved category in class 12th or you should be in top 20 percentile in class 12th board Exam.
Good Luck!
Hello!!
You should have appeared for 12th standard (or equivalent) qualifying examination after 2017 and you must have scored at least 75% aggregate marks in 12th standard (or equivalent) examination atleast 65% aggregate marks if you belong to SC/ST/PwD.You have to first apply for JEE mains exam and you must qualify that exam by securing marks above the cutoff required and then you must apply for JEE advanced. If you qualify your JEE advanced and if the rank secured by you is below the closing rank of any IIT of your preference, then you will get an admission into an IIT!
All the best!!
Hi Gaurav!
Beginning from your board tests ,you should breeze through your board tests with PCM as principle subjects with least 75 % total. The criteria may vary dependent on rank framework that you can mind the JOSAA site.At that point you need to qualify the JEE MAINS and ADVANCE exams. For confirmation in IITs the characteristics of JEE MAINS doesn't influence your position, as the entire positioning depends on what you scored in the JEE ADVANCE. After the positions are pronounced after ADVANCE , you need to fill inclinations for the different IITs with specific stream in them . At that point inside scarcely any days advising begins ,the inclination which suits your position and the accessibility of seat will prompt the apportioning of the seat. At that point inside a specific timespan you to affirm your seat on the off chance that you are taking affirmation in IIT.
Hope this helps.
All the best!
