According to the rules, if a candidate is eligible for getting admission for a seat on the basis of his/her All India Rank, then his/her All India Rank is considered. However, if the same candidate is not eligible for taking admission on the basis of AIR, but his/her Category rank is fetching him/her a seat, then his/her Category rank is considered.
