Sperms get maturity and motility in epididymis by reabsorption of fluid secreted originally by seminiferous tubules and by chemicals produced by the lining of epididymal tube.epididymis is a mass of coiled tubules attached to posterior surface of the testis.it stores the sperms temporarily.i hope this information helps you.

The structure on the top of the seminiferous tubules in the testis is the epididymis. The sperm migrates from the seminiferous tubules to the epididymis. Within the epididymis the sperms mature while they're stored in this structure.
