General awareness is a very important section of CLAT as it accounts for 50 marks out of the total 200 marks. Thus, you need to thoroughly prepare for general knowledge and current affairs. Read newspapers daily and try cover the major current happenings around the world in last 5 years. Important Topics for GK you must cover are: Indian & World History, Geography, Arts and Literature, Personalities, Science & Technology, Business and economy, Important Topics for Current Affairs, International News, Sports and Movies, Business and economy, Awards and Honors, Science and technology, Government and politics among others.

Go through previous years' question papers, periodic journals, register for online mocks test. These will surely help you prepare for the exam.
