which branch is best ECE or CSE to lead better future

Every branch is good and have scopes in its own field. It depends on the person's interest and capability.

CSE:- computer science engineers are involved in various aspects like designing graphics, designing microprocessors,personal computers and supercomputers to circuit designing and writing software that powers them. Job offers for dam is much higher in the corporate sector than in public sector.

ESE:-ESE is one of the most popular branches. you can work as an engineer or can choose research while pursuing your post graduation. Students get placement in IT fields also. Recruitment for ECE students is also huge. An electronic engineer can find a job in Telecommunication and IT industries, power electronics and other industries like Steel petroleum and chemical industry.

Both Computer Science and Electronic Communication Engineering branches are very good but jobs apportunity are different in both branches. CS and EC branches are most demanded branches of engineering.If you are interested in computer education then you can join CS branch. CS branch is totally related to computer education. In electronic branch you study about communication, TV, Mobile and other communication devices.

Difference in study :

• ECE is about electronics and how the different electrical components communicate with each other. It has more Physics in it. There is a little programming involved but not much.
• CSE deals with telling these components what to do and when to do it; by programming them. It has a lot of logic involved and Maths too.

Difference in Placements :

• Placement wise, ECE is a little better than CSE as it has more offers in the public sector (govt jobs). Also ECE is considered to be somewhat of a "evergreen" branch.
• CSE also has very good placements and the average salary is higher than ECE.
• If we see the statistics of NITK Surathkal then : Highest package at NITK is 65 Lakhs/annum from Microsoft in CS against 10.5 lakhs from TI in EC.
• More than 60% of CS class are placed in companies with package more than 7 lakhs/annum and 25% of the class with more than 10 lakhs/annum against 10% in EC.
• Avg salary for entire branch discarding mass recruiters and not considering overseas placement

Its apparently clear that CS has better package than EC and coming to the better side of EC, if you want to learn something interesting and make it work in real you should go for EC. There is wide scope for research and higher studies in EC, there is lot of research going on on cutting edge technologies in EC.

Both branches are very good but you have to choose branch according to your own interest.
