Hello Vishal,
In engineering, both of these branches have almost similar education till the final year, given just a few subjects are different.
Computer Science Engineering is full computer and Language based engineering where you get to learn all about computer and its architecture
And IT Engineering is like a sub-branch, where you learn a few lesser topics.
Personally, I would say apply for the CS Branch
