Hi,

The branch you want to choose after completion of your class 12 depends upon the stream you have opted for and also your interest. If you are from Science background, you have the option to choose B.Tech, B.Sc, MBBS, B.Pharma subject to whether you have chosen Biology/Mathematics. Similarly, Commerce stream can go for CA, B.Com, etc. while arts students can opt for B.A. and similar programs. You should opt for the course according for your branch and also for the interest. Every field as its own scope and one can do perfect in a particular stream, if he/she opt for his/her best area. There is nothing as such to consider one branch more important than the other.
