1.General theory of Law of Torts

2.Contracts and criminal law

3.constitution and polity

so,general theory of laws of torts and contracts laws,criminal laws helps you to get knowledge about legal reasoning and analysing where constitution and polity most important one should to go deep into the subject as it give legal knowledge.And also the principles based questions from Fundamental rights in constitution.

Vedant, CLAT syllabus has various sections such as Constitutional Law, Law of Torts, International Law, Jurisprudence, Intellectual Property law, Law of Contracts and Criminal Law. Constitutional law refers to the rights states and implemented in the Federal and State Constitutions. Law of Torts in common law jurisdictions is a civil wrong that causes a claimant to suffer loss or harm resulting in legal liability for the person who is accused of committing the act.

Now Constitutional law carries more marks and so books by VN Shukla, Brij Kishore Sharma and JN Pandey are must reads.

For Jurisprudence, books by VD Mahajan and Mani Tripathi are the best in the market. This is a tough subject, carries 50 marks and so try checking guides available on this subject in the local book stores as well.

For the rest of the subjects, follow Singhal's solved CLAT papers and gather as much information as possible from Internet for your preparation.
