JEE Main is conducted by NTA.It is based on the getting admission into engineering stream .If you get good marks in the JEE  Mains You may get into NIT/IIIT.It is very difficult to tell which college you will get it depends on cut off in different colleges changes year to year .you can check predict college by using JEE College predictor tool

For a good JEE Mains score, or above 98 percentile, you can get into a number of colleges that are the top in our country. These include:

1. IITs
2. NITs
3. Jadavpur University
4. IIEST Shibpur
5. VNI Nagpur
6. Jamia MIlia Islamia
7. BITS (any campus)

Some colleges like VIT, BITS, or SRM also conduct their own entrance examinations for admission to UG courses. But if you have already given JEE Mains this year, then you can predict your colleges using the college predictor tool below:
