Solar power engineering is a part of electical engineering or electrical and electronics engineering at the undergraduate level. You will only have a course on it. But for separate study you will only get it during MTech. For solar engineering you take admission for mtech in any of good institutes. Most of the iits and nits offers this course like Bombay, madras, kharagpur, kanpur etc. And if you want course on solar energy not engineering than you can go for tata technical institutes.
