Following are some options available (based on past years' cutoffs) with a rank of 9500:

• CSE at NIT Uttarakhand
• ECE at IIIT Allahabad
• CSE at NIT Jalandhar
• ME at NIT Rourkela
• CE at NIT trichy

Whenever applying for a college, you should not consider only the one thing (that can be either placement or Stream). You should take both into account i.e., if you are interested in studying Computer Science only and not interested in any other stream then look for the colleges which provides you computer science and then shortlist them on the basis of placement.

If you have a case like choosing between CSE at one Institute (With less placement) and Some other branch at other Institute (with much better placement), then you can go with the other option if you can pursue your study with that branch.
