There are many courses in engineering and it depends on you that which course you make best for you, it depends upon your passion that where you feel that you can do that subject if you feel your interest in Computer science then you can go for it if you feel your interest in civil engineering then you can go for it, if you feel your interest in mechanics then you can go for mechanical engineering so on.
Still if talking with respect to the placement then Computer science and engineering and information  technology branch is good, still another branches have average placement and civil engineering is the branch which has lesser placement till now.
