There is no way to determine which course is best and which is not. It is because it is no apple to apple comparision. Each course is unique in its own way - has its flaws and advantages.

That being said, computer science, mechanical and chemical engineering are some of the popular branches. Remember, whatever branch you choose, you ultimately have to get into a good institute and get a degree with good marks and practical experience to suceed. So, instead of pondering so much about which is the best, prepare yourself for entrance exams like JEE Main so you get into a good institute in the first place.
