Hii,
Now a days Computer Science Stream has huge demand and have vast opportunities in this field. If you pursue CSE from a good College then You will definitely get placed in any of the IT company. Whereas if you want to go for Mechanical, Electrical and other Core subjects then it is advisable to do your graduation from a good reputated college or NIT or IIT. Mechanical will last longer but you can't get placement if you study in a local college. So CSE is a promising Branch to get placement.
