Both the branches have their equal advantages....mechanical is the evergreen branch while cse is the most preferred branch nowadays...it depends on your interest to choose a branch so that in future you will not get upset...both are good and it depends on college also..i.e...for which branch the college is known..choice will be yours!

Both are the core branches and provides good scope in terms of jobs and placements.

You can choose any branch according to your interest and passion.

If we compare the branches then CSE is the most demanding branch among students.

It provides very good scope in terms of salary.
