Coming to your question I would think the best option is to choose based on what your interest is as both the fields are different. If your interest lies in Ayurvedic medicine you should choose BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicines) and if it is in dentistry you should go for BDS(Bachelor of Dental Surgery (Bachelor of Dental Surgery).
Both have a lot of opportunities when it comes to career. With BAMS the demand is increasing day by day. It has huge demand in foreign countries too. You may also enter the teaching profession and you can find employment in private and government ayurveda Institutes. After the completion of the BDS course, you are entitled to use the prefix “ Dr.”. There are plenty of good jobs including the teaching profession and higher study opportunities available after BDS.
So the choice depends on your interest.
