Which iims don't consider graduation marks for shortlisting???
Answer (1)
There is no IIM which does not consider graduation marks for shortlisting. After your CAT result every IIM makes a merit list to call students for next round of interview and WSAT which is based on your aggregate score which comprises of many factors such as CAT marks, 10th 12th and graduation percentage, work experience, engineer or non engineer, gender with different weightages for different colleges.
In this aggregate score graduation marks generally have 5-10% weightage. There is an exception like IIM Indore which gives more weightage to academic records even more than CAT marks but otherwise in all IIMs you have 5-10% weightage in the first merit list to call students for next round.
After the next round of interview and WSAT the weightage of academic records is further reduced because of addition of interview and WSAT marks which along with CAT marks have the highest weightage in final list.
You don't need to worry much about graduation percentage as your other records are good and if you are able to get a good CAT percentile then you will be able to cover the loss and get calls from IIMs. Then your selection will depend majorly on your performance in interview and WSAT.
All the best!!

Then how much percentile should I secure in cat to overcome the loss in graduation and to get calls from the best iims???
For top 3 IIMs i.e. IIM A, B and C you need to get above 99.7+ percentile. For other old IIMs like IIM L, K and I you need to score atleast 98+ percentile and for all new IIMs you need to have 95+ percentile. These all percentile are considering you a general category engineering student.
Thank u very much sir for providing this information
