First off,no body is shy. It's all in your head. You create a shell for yourself and call it being shy. It's nothing but a social construct and it can be conquered with little effort. So,don't let your mind decide what you want to study. Let your heart do that for you. The moment you crack the entrance and ace the interview(irrespective of how shy you are),you feel a new form of confidence rising inside you.
So,be sure of your calling and work accordingly.
