which is better in terms of placements and scope when pursued from private college in Mumbai-chemical , CSE,IT or biomedical engineering?

It depends on college to college. All the branches have good scope in future it's depends on your interest and passion.
If we compare the branches in terms of scope and placements you can go for CSE branch. It has highest number of placements with excellent packages.
