Which is better to study M.B.B.S ? A newly opened govt medical college in rural area with no facilities and no good classes or The top private college in a good place (both of state). Neglecting the fee structure because I am eligible for scholarship so don't have to give tuition fee.
Greetings,
so as far as your field of MBBS goes, in the long run (after graduation) opportunities are the same as is the reputation unless you are an AIIMS graduate. So I'd advise you to go for the college which has better faculty and better opportunities to develop your skills as a medicinal practitioner (better hospital, better seniors, better internships, etc.) rather than going for the government college tag. Chances are high that the newly formed government college would not have great faculty.
You also need to keep in mind the college culture and the amount of support you will get in the college for your PG exam preparations if you plan on going that way.
All in all, it does not matter much for a doctor where he/she has completed their studies from unless they wish to go for research and further studies abroad.
If you have any more doubts then do drop a comment and I'll try to answer it as best as powssible.
best of luck!
hey!
considering the fact that government tag with any college makes it different from others. But as you mentioned that it is a newly established college and has no facilities at all , then it is not that musch worth to study here . I'll suggest you to go for private college which you are saying that it is one of the top private college , means it will provide you a lot good facilities and a good placement.
Choose wisely!
