Nothing is easier....always remember that. But the best among cse and it is cse ...but both are equally good branches......placement records are really very nice for these two branches nowadays.....

Both IT and CSE are good. It depends on your interest.
Computer Science and Engineering is dedicated to both professional and research tracks. A Computer Engineer is someone who would have in depth knowledge about the Hardware systems as well as the Software systems.
IT is more of a Professional track course. You are taught about systems and their functioning on a need to know basis.
