The option which is best could be understood during mock allotment only. During counselling process JoSAA prepares rank list involving only those who registered for JoSAA counselling. So you will be alloted a separate rank. With Advanced score you can get to IITs and with Mains to other institutes. There are top institutes in both NITs as well as IITs.
