which is the easiest branch in b tech ?

Dear Aspirant,

If you want to make a good professional career then you have to study a lot for every branch however, for the academic 4 years of the btech you may find that some branches are easier then the other branches.

So the tough branches are Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics. These are relatively more academically demanding then then the other brances.

Similarly branches like Chemical engineering, IT, are somewhat easier academically.

There is nothing like easiest branch or toughest branch . It is about your interest in which branch you want to make your career and depending upon that you have to make choice . Now why some branches accept low rank then reason behind it is the less demand of those branch by students and slightly less job opportunities with respect to other branches .

But there are several branches like Production Engineering, Material Engineering etc which has slight less syllabus than core branches and some mainstream branches .

But for better opportunities go with core branches and branches in demand , it is not so other branches are bad they are good to but have less job opportunities with respect to other branches till now , may be in future jobs in those branches might increase . One more point is that if you got these branches in some good colleges  then chances of job increases rest depends on your own calibre  .
