what is the meaning of opening amd closing rank which is mentioned in bihar neet counselling result for 1st round. does it means that children whose rank comes between the given opening nd closing rank will be given seats.

For counselling through JOSAA ns and also for CSAB for admission in IITs, NITs ,IIITs and GFTIs, the merit list is prepared using the rank only and not on percentile . They use general rank for unreserved seats and for reserved seat they use that category rank only. For example for 27% OBC seats they will conduct counselling through ONC rank only.
