As per my knowledge, Both the Universities are doing good,Which University is better It all depends upon the prospect of university/college that you are looking forward to like the curriculum and study, recruitment and placement rate and campus infrastructure and life.

Both the Universities are good for placements. In fact i would like to say that almost many universities are putting a lot of efforts to provide placements to the candidates. So, Most of the private Universities like LPU, Amity, SNU, BITS, VIT, SRM are good in Academics, placements and are equally good as IIT's and NIT's. Rather universities like LPU, VIT, SRM and BITS are even more better than few newer IIT's.

Placement is what KIIT is known for in all over India. There is almost cent percent placement record for almost 5-7 years. Last year nearly 2400 students got 3700 job offers. Nearly 200 students got job offers from 4-5 companies and the Royal branch i.e. KIIT school of CSE tops in the list of placement. Almost 94% students are placed till now. Most of the students are placed in service based companies and consultancy services. The highest package was 27 lakhs per annum and the average was 4.2 lakhs per annum. Students were offered all kind of roles including manager, developer etc. Although many companies have visited the campus for internships but nearly 25-30% students get internships and some of them got pre-placement offers also. The highest stipend was Rs. 70,000, the average stipend was Rs. 15,000 and the lowest was Rs. 10000.
