Which option is better to become a professor after completing a B.Tech,MS or M.Tech?

Hello,
Whichever route you take you will need to do a PhD.
The MS route will be a little more costlier and if you can do a PhD from a foreign reputed university, there is a chance that you may get absorbed in one of them abroad.
However that may be a little difficult given the current circumstances. However you will definitely be given preference at the IIT'S and IISc here.
The situation will be less costly and more the normal route if you decide to stay here.
