Hello,
If you are interested in getting admitted to NITs, IIITs or GFTIs you can register for JoSAA. Admission to such institutes will be done based on the rank list prepared by JoSAA. If you register then only can you participate and be included in the rank list. Usually the JEE Mains cut-off is for attending JEE Advanced. The previous cut-offs of JoSAA are available in https://josaa.nic.in/webinfocms/Public/View.aspx?page=71
You have to register for allotment by second week of June, fill your choices. JoSAA will prepare a rank list based on merit of those who applied. Except for candidates belonging to General category, category wise rank list is prepared and every else from this step is based on this. General category can use Common Rank List (CRL). You will get to know about the colleges you might most probably get during mock allotment.
Hi Sai,
You have to know first the by JOSAA you can get admission into NIT, IIEST, IIITs, GFTIs, IITs.
So you must have to qualify JEE Mains to seat in JOSAA, to apply JEE Main based colleges like NIT, IIEST, IIIT, GFTI, and if you are JEE Advanced qualifier then you can take participation in the admission process of IITs.
Hope you get your answer.
Best of luck !!!
