As per the statement made the Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar on November 10, 2017 the Union Cabinet has approved the creation of a National Testing Agency (NTA) that it will be the only authority to conduct the national level entrance exams like JEE Main, NEET etc. But it will take some time for the body to start functioning.
JEE Main 2018 will conducted by CBSE itself but NTA might be the conducting body from 2019 for JEE Main or other National level entrance exams.
