Why 90% students prioritise in councilling is first is CS second is ECE and third is IT branch...????

Dear Vinit, the IT sector and its coming up opportunities are not hidden, they are very much transparent. That'sthe main reason for CS being the first priority. Being in this branch you can get jobs easily with median pay. And if you are skillful then there's no stopping for you. Tech giants like GOOGLE, MICROSOFT look forward to these skillful students and offers them excellent packages. So, high paying  salary is one another reason.

Next comes ECE. This is considered as the evergreen branch in engineering. It is divided in 3 parts, Electronics, AI, Coding stuff. So, depending on your area of interest you can choose any field. This branch has a wider scope than any branch. Even in govt sector, PSU's, private companies all will hire you.

Now comes IT. There's no much difference between CSE and IT. More or less the corriculum is same for both of them. But being in IT branch, you are not considered upto CSE students. During the placements also its the CSE branch student who get to see the interviewers first. Also, the salary offered to IT branch student is less than that of CSE.

We understand your concern. Please note that most of the students prefer CS as their first option because it is a very growing industry and has tons of job opportunities. TO be frank, there is no difference between CS and IS aas they both have the same kind of placements. If you like electronics, you can also go for ECE.All the best!
