Last year lowest marks that fetched a seat under state quota in Karnataka fir general category was 360 marks and it was for two colleges namely Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences, Madikeri and ESI Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Bangalore. But cut off for medical colleges keep changing depending upon several factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks scored by students, toughness level of exam etc. So you get a seat in government medical college with marks of 450 to 500. But in order to be on a safer side keep your target at least 550.
