why PGCIL not hiring CS candidates?

In their earlier notification, Power Grid Corporation mentioned that CS candidates were eligible. But in subsequent notification they have removed CS as one of the eligibility criteria.

Now, only Electrical, Electrionics, and Civil engineering graduates can apply. In fact, the application link also shows these three disciplines, and not CS.

As you will see, under select a discipline tab, the CS option is not available.

However, you should be too disappointed as there are a host of other PSU that hire CS graduates.
