See the General Category is the overall rank. During counselling the students will be allocated the seat if they have good ranks through this rank. After the allotment of the seats if some students don't get a chance to get seat in Medical colleges through GCR then they are allocated the reserved seats. So if you have a really good common rank then you will be allocated the seat in general and you have to worry nothing about it.
